    Hello Debra
This is a wonderful opportunity to be prayed for. And you are blessed that so many people send their requests. We have a lot of work to do here…
Please pray for my dad, Paul. Pray that his heart and proud will melt and that he will receive Jesus soon.

    Debra & Lauren,
Please remember Heather. We thought she had allergies, but now we think its more serious because shes coughing up green which is a sign of infection. We’re going to be calling the doctor to see what he recommends, but we want to call on the great physician! So we would appreciate your prayers. We hope to see you Friday, She’s really wanting to see you, but it depends on how she’s feeling if we make it or not.

    Love and Prayers,

Please pray for my mother Marjorie, she has had an unexplained weight loss over the last year of over 60 lbs. She did go to the doctor a few months ago who did a lot of tests and found nothing showing up on the tests that were done.As these tests did not show anything wrong mother said she was obviously fine did not go back to the doctor although she has continued to loose weight. We are all so very worried about her , we did manage to get her to go back to the doctor last week and she has had all sorts of tests done again plus x rays etc, the results of which should come through this week.

Please pray for Coleton Wright. He is an 8 year old little boy, the grandson of our pastor at the Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene in Edinburgh,In. In December 07 he was diagnosed with a devastating disease of the brain called ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) It is the same disorder that the child from the movie Lorenzo’s Oil had. Typically the children only live a couple of years from the time of diagnosis. It only affects boys and is genetically carried from the mother. So you can imagine the hurt this mother is feeling. He will eventually be in a vegitative state before death. He has stopped talking and has a feeding tube now because of swallowing difficulties. Our pastor, his family, and our church family is struggling with this, as we just lost a lady in our church to brain cancer at age 40 in April of 07. Thank you for the healing music through the years. It has touched my life many times, many ways.

I just got back last night from an amazing mission trip to Iquitos, Peru. I went with a team of 7 women. Praise God we made it through that alone. We witnessed the Glory of God on a daily basis. We held nightly crusades in the town squares and had may people to come and be prayed for. One man was delivered from drugs and 3 men were made sober right before us. A lady had no function in her hand and after prayer it began to function as well as her other hand. Our goal was to meet with the government officials to discuss more about opening a shelter for homeless and battered women. They were so moved that they gave us 10 acres of prime property. Glory to God! Resurrection Faith Ministries is honored to be the vessel that God is using to do a mighty work in this area. Please continue to pray for us as we pursue God’s will for all of us as well as for the ministry.

In case anybody who is reading this now did not read my prayer request here is the situation, she is seventeen he is sixteen they are going to have a baby. All I can think is how on earth are they going to do this. Things are really bad in some cases. I chose to believe this baby is a

I usually just lurk around on here and read other posts and requests, but I have one that I need to ask.
I have a friend that I’ve known for years. She lives in TX and she was just in the hospital for 2 days with MRSA. She’s in a lot of pain. She said the sores hurt her so bad and she gets fevers, chills, shakes and is constantly tired. She is dealing with more than one strain of bacteria and if she doesnt keep up on her meds she will die. She might have to deal with it for the rest of her life. She needs a miracle right now. Please pray for her. She’s 23 years old and her name is Rebecca.

    Thank you.

Jeffery, We are all proud of our soldiers. I keep a list of some of our soldiers that moms and dads have asked us for prayer. Avery and Joseph are on the list. Please let them know we are praying for them and give them this website. Our troops sometimes have access to the internet. It might be a real encouragement to them.

I just received a phone call from a dear friend telling asking us to pray for a young lady in Texas that we have been aquainted with. She struggles with an eating disorder and is down to 70 pounds. They are putting her in a special hospital because her organs are beginning to shut down. They may have to sell their home to pay the medical bills since their insurance will not cover it. Our first priority is for her healing or she will not survive. She is part of a group that sings. This is devastating to her group and her family. I am praying for all of your requests above and ask for your urgent prayers for this young lady. Her name is Sherri. Let’s not forget to post the praise reports when God answers our prayers.

Last night we were in Wilkesboro, NC at a concert for the Ebenezar Children’s Home. Please pray for this incredible ministry. They have adopted “The Broken Ones” as their song. It is a cause that is close to my heart and their director Jean Davis is a godly woman that loves and fights for every child that comes in to the home. We were with several other groups last night and when we all met for prayer before the concert, Karen Peck’s mother was mentioned. Sue recently had surgery and a tumor was found. She is undergoing chemo at this posting. Karen and Susan asked for prayer for her. I told her about this site and she said to please put her mom on the prayer list. So, let’s really intercede for Karen and Susan’s mom. I know you will and we are blessed to have such prayer warriors. God bless you all and don’t forget we are lifting your needs up as well.

Three of the seven foster teens in my home have been send by their dentist for an evaluation for braces. There teeth are very crooked! We heard that Medicaid was not paying for foster kids anymore, but prayed and hoped that was not true. We recived word on Thursday that all three kids have been denied! They are very disappointed and embarrased by their “smile”. I told them God must have another plan to get them braces. Maybe he wants to use His people to do it and allow them the blessing of helping. So . . . please pray with us that God supplies the funds for these kids. Thanks for your faithful prayers.

I have to have the stitches out on Friday and I told the Dr. that I would be at a Southern Gospel concert in Jackson, TN so he went and called a Dr. friend that practices there and arranged for his nurse to take them out for me. I was totally amazed that he would do that for me. God definetely is in control!!!!

    Hello everyone,
We have been reading and praying over your requests and I know God is answering many. Please remember to post your praises when your answer comes. I am asking you to pray for two boys. One is Alex 7 months old. He is has hemaphillia and is not doing well. His grandmother Ellen in Virginia asked for your prayers. The other is a teenaged boy Graham. He is the son of Kenna West who wrote Red Letter Day. He is going in for surgery tomorrow in Nashville, for a detached retina. Pray for the surgeons and that God would completely restore his sight in both eyes. Thanks for your faithfulness.

I told ya’ll about two months ago that my seventeen year old friends were going to have a baby. Well it looks like they are going to have a little girl About a month or so ago I told ya’ll that there was a small chance that she could have a heart defect, well good news I do not think that she has any heart problems, Praise the Lord. I still have my concerns though, because they are only seventeen, I am seventeen and just being that age is hard enough without the difficulty of raising a child. My friend has always had a hard life, whenever a problem arose for some reason or another she would run from her problems. She is still finding it easier to run than to face her problems, they are talking about moving because they want a fresh start, but I do not think that they realize that leaving this is not going to solve their problems they arejust running away again. I would like to see them get married and raise their daughter up going to church. I have a gut feeling that I hope and pray is wrong, but I am afraid when that baby gets to be to much to handle she will run away from her own child, and that scares me. My gut feelings about her have not been wrong yet, but I reall do hope this one is. I do not want to see her make a mistake that cannot be fixed. I really do hope that they make it as parents, but she did not have the best example to show her. Please continue to pray for them as they have to walk this road that they have chosen.

Just so you know, Kay got saved. How awesome is that! For a person to have never gone to a Christian concert, she fit right in. Praisin the Lord and all, it was so awesome. I believe she was the reason why the concert had to wait until August. I love the Lord and love what he has done for me. My spirit feels so charged up and I really needed it!!!

I’d like you to pray for a family I know. Their family member was found last week after missing for four years.
There will be a memorial service next weekend. I didn’t really know him I knew one his brother’s family and his sister’s family and his parents when I was much younger. I last saw the ones I know in his family about two years ago.
Honestly it’s bothering me more than I thought it would when I first found out about it the other day. It kind of brings back old memories and makes me feel a little helpless too. My cousin was a similar situation he had only been missing for maybe a week. My cousin was a young man at the time in the early 80’s. Their brother was a much older man. I also have a niece that to my knowledge is still missing since last November. She is in her
    early 30’s.
I’m asking you to agree with me that God will give us all peace of mind, will give me personal instruction on how to show sympathy to this family that I care about and that I will hear something about my nieces whereabouts soon.

II Corinthians 4:8 & 9 reads: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. With this in mind hold on to the promises that although troubles (depression, struggles, temptation etc)come our way we are overcomers thru the Lord Jesus.

    Hello everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, the Talleys were singing in Gordo, AL, which is about 2 hours away from where I live in Newton, MS. I had to go there (and it was well worth the trip!) since it was my last time to do something like that for a little while.

I’m 25 years old, and this Saturday, I’m traveling out of the country for the first time in my life! I’m going on a 3 week mission trip to New Zealand, and I’ll be preaching in at least 3 churches there and coming back home on Christmas Day.

I’ll be going three weeks without college, my cell phone, and Chick-Fil-A. I’m glad to be out of school for a while, I can even go without using the cell phone for a while, but I don’t like going even 3 days without stopping by Chick-Fil-A! It’ll be worth it, though, I’m sure! Anyway, I just wanted to mention the trip and ask everyone to pray for me and for the meetings.

Oh, and by the way, I hope you have a happy birthday next week Lauren! May God continue to bless you and your family as you labor in His service!

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to read these requests and pray for each other. I recently had several requests for prayer and I wanted to share them with all of you. One is Carolyn Pigg who has a rare form of cancer. She is a wonderful Christian lady with a strong faith in God. Her sister Linda Stevens shared the request with me and asked that we pray for her sister and the family. I told her we have the best prayer partners in the world! The other request if for a lady, Shirley Frost, she is has a broken hip and other complications. I appreciate having a prayer group like all of you and it is such an encouragement to be able to tell people about this site when we are on the road. They come nightly and ask for prayer. It’s a comfort to so many when we tell them about this site and they are so thankful to have their requests mentioned here. It would not be possible without you. God Bless each of you!

I forgot to include this in my last post. In January a friend from my honmetown posted a request for her cousin, Jim Wilmurth, who has ALS or Lou Gerhigs disease. Just a few days ago, Jim went home to be with the Lord. He and his family have been like family to us my entire life and my heart is heavy for them. Little Jim, as I called him, was an encouragement to all those around him and he will be greatly missed. When Jim was a boy, I had the privilege of leading him to the Lord. He was an incredible Christian. Please remember his family in your prayers. His grandmother also needs our prayers. She fell and broke her hip and was unable to attend his funeral. Thanks so much.

Words can never start to express our gratitude for all the prayers for the Wilmurth family. Jim who suffered from ALS for 5 years was only able to move his head and 2 fingers during his last days on this earth, but now he is running on the streets of gold, no longer confined to his power chair. He’s been healed!! He was so strong in his faith that he was ready to meet his Master. It is so unbelievably tough to lose such a special cousin, but he touched so many lives and remained positive until he drew his final breath. During his funeral service, at least one person accepted the Lord as their Savior. We all know that Jim was smiling!

Our Grandmother fell and had hip surgery the same day Jim passed, but is doing better and back at the care facility. That same day was also my son’s 7th birthday. The Lord gives us the strength when we are unable to make it alone and he took care of all of us. Please continue to pray for our family. Thanks!!

Can you please pray for my husband Robert who has been very ill with severe depression and anxiety for many months now. It has been very hard to cope with his illness and he is not showing much signs of improvement.
Two weeks ago my 45 year old brother Colin was diagnosed with a rare and agressive form of cancer in his oesophogus. Colin and I have always been extremely close as he has never been married and I have always looked out for him. The prognosis is not good and he needs a lot of prayer.
My mother is not well also and she is not aware of the full extent of Colin’s illness. It is very hard to cope with all that is happening to my family right now and as my doctor told me the other day I can’t let you get sick as so many people are depending on you right now. Please pray that I get the strength to cope with all this.

      Heather,

I know it is June, and your posting was in April. However, I can empathize with the trials you are experiencing. People often quote Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work togeter for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (ESV) When we walk through the vallelys it is difficult to see how the trials can possibly be good. However, when God looks at the trial He sees how the trial fits into His greater plan for us that we can’t see. This provides me peace to know I don’t have to know how it is working for my good, but the Lord does. In His time He may show me, or it may be in heaven but I know He wants the best for me. Even if the best seems grim God was not taken by surprise. Rest in His strong right hand.

I have a minister who has asked for prayer for friends in Wetumpka,Al. Linda & Jerry were shot my a neighbor, another neighbor was killed after Jerry & Linda were shot. Jerry is home doing better but Linda is in the hospital in a battle to save her arm. All of this over property lines to be surveyed….so senseless and so many families destroyed.
Satan is a liar and he will not win.I plead the blood of Jesus over this whole situation. Please agree and lift these families up in prayer.

    Blessings & Love

Lori said that she let you know about James surgery and I wanted you to know that we felt lots of prayers from all of our church family and friends. He is home and doing better. Very sore still but on the road to recovery. Pathology results sounded very encouraging. Next step will be for a good PSA number in 6 weeks.

Hope to see you when you come to Springfield in June.

You are all in our prayers.
    Love Penny & James Meridith

Please pray for Brent he is having surgery on the 16th, the surgery was scheduled for earlier in the month, however he rescheduled so that we would be able to go the the Talley Concert on the 12th. Though Brent is only 42 he had a major heart attack and we almost lost him 5 years ago, they only gave him a 1% survival rate. He came through praise God, but without this surgery the doctors are worried he is headed for another heart attack.
    God Bless, Tammy

Please pray for my brother Colin and for my family. Colin is terminally ill with cancer and has been living with me for some weeks. I decided to go ahead with a planned visit to the US including NQC and Gaitherfest after all the doctor’s assured my my brother was stable and I needed to get away. There has just been so much serious illness with close members of my family that the doctor’s said I needed to get a break.I got a call yesterday that my brother’s condition has very unexpectantly deteriorated and I need to return to Scotland immediately. The last 24 hrs have been very upsetting but finally I have managed to get my flights changed and I will begin the long journey home on Monday. Please can you all pray for my brother Colin and for all my family.
