Or maybe Roger could do the first verse, Debra could do the second, Lauren could do the third and when it goes to the "Hallelujah Hallelujah" part, there could be awesome harmony

This is my favorite song along w/ "Life Goes On". I have a suggestion. On the first verse it sounded kinda low so maybe Debra lead the first verse and you sing the harmony above her and when it goes to the higher key you could take over the melody. Just a suggestion

Hey Tim,

We're not quite ready to sing the song yet in a live performance. :) We usually can't do that until the recording comes out. You can probably expect to hear some of the new songs at the National Quartet Convention this September though. God bless!

Lauren does an awesome solo vocal performance on "Realms of Glory Bright". I believe this would be a great praise and worship song for the album for listeners. For those who prefer this particular format of singing. I look forward to hearing this song live and in person at the Bonifay All Night Sing in Bonifay, Florida as well as the annual Praise By The Bay Concert next year in Panama City, Florida.

Hi Sue! Thank you for posting! We love "Realms" and are planning to cut the vocals on it this week.

Thanks for providing some clarity about the lyric. You can't be too careful you know! You'll hear how it's really supposed to sound very soon :)

Hey Kathryn,

Sorry I'm a little late answering your post; I just ran across it!

The candles are there because the engineer thought they'd look pretty in the studio. That's really the only purpose they serve! :)
Keep checking back to hear more songs and thank you for being part of the Tree!

Sorry to be so slow to respond. I listened to this song several days ago, but had to run.

As someone said above, The Talley Trio could sing the phone book and be enjoyable, but when you do a great praise song such as this, it is truly uplifting.

I was going to quote Rev. 13:8, but Sue beat me to it.

God bless and keep up the incredible music ministry.

Hi Kathryn!

Caitlin is at a camp in Pennsylvania (she's providing the special music all week!), so she isn't here to reply. Pray for her--this is the first time she's done music on this scale, and I'm not there to "help."(Probably a bigger issue for me than it is for her. LOL!)

I have to admit, we met so many people last year that I'm not sure who you are--can you refresh my memory? I think I might know...were you there with your husband? Either that, or you're the teen we spent some time with....

Caitlin and I will both be at Steve Hurst again in...what, 18 days??! We'll have to try to reconnect, and then I won't forget you again. :-)

Hi everyone! Since I was one of the writers on "Realms of Glory Bright" (my co-writers were David Moffitt and Joel Lindsey), I just thought I'd comment on the discussion about the line "Though the Lamb was slain before the world's foundation." We took the line from Scripture... Revelation 13:8 (And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.)

The commentaries I have read on this verse talk about how
God is speaking about the eternal election of grace which spans time. Christ was foreordained to be slain. It is the same as if that sacrifice had been made before the creation of the world.

Here's a link to more information on this: http://members.aol.com/twarren28/slainfounda.html

This idea just humbles me and reminds me how big God is and how much He loves us.

By the way, my very favorite Dottie Rambo song alluded to the same verse. "Behold the Lamb, behold the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world."

Hope that helps clarify the lyric.

I'm thrilled that Roger, Debra and Lauren are cutting this song! They are awesome!

I love both songs posted. My favorite at the moment would have to be "Calvary and Amazing Grace." That song is great!
