I’ve Never Been Loved Like You (song #4)

Here’s the next song! This one is really different. Please let us know what you think and, if you haven’t already subscribed, please do that, too. (Over to the right where it says “SUBSCRIBE”)

I’ve Never Been Loved Like You

Chorus:
I’ve never been loved like you
No one ever cared like you
Each promise you made is true
I stand so amazed
I thought for sure that your love would end
When I failed you Lord time and again
But my failures are living proof
That I’ve never been loved like you

Verse 1:
He was dying to love someone
To love someone like me
He gave all he had for love
He spent it all on me
When my heart laid eyes on him
This old world grew strangely dim
I knew that my search was through
Lord I’ve never been loved like you

Chorus

Verse 2:
The search is on for love
Something real something new
Every heartbeats a waste of time
Till you find someone true
You make everyday complete
And make every moment new
Such a treasured gift I have
Lord this love I found in you

Chorus

Tag:
No one ever cared for me like Jesus
But my failures are living proof
That I’ve never been loved like you

These slow tight harmony songs are my FAVORITE from your group. Thanks for adding mom and dad in on this one! The message is awesome and moving. I’m in my 30’s and still like the slow meaniful songs better than any upbeat one. The upbeat ones are fun, but the slow ones seem to stir the spirit more for me. It’s a keeper!

Very moving! Another winner… but what else can we expect from The Talley Trio?

I’ve been a gospel singer (and trumpet player) for over 50 years, and IMO your recordings have become the “zenith” of Christian music.

My wife and I buy as many of your CDs as we can afford and give them as gifts for birthdays, etc.

I’m sure this present project will be another one we will buy in bunches. And I hope you release the accompaniment soon thereafter, too.

The project is scheduled to be released in September and the accompaniment soundtrack CDs usually follow about a month later. Thanks for listening!

Hey guys! That is an awesome song! I think it is especially good for a concert setting. I believe this song allows you to sit back and think about all of the ways God shows His love even if it isnt something just for me. For some reason, I was expecting a “tear jerker” but instead I heard pure melody and perfect harmony which actually is enough to bring a tear to your eye just knowing how much God really loves us! Awesome song!

Hello! I have always loved your slow, jazzy tunes! The three of you together, with the different harmonies sound really good! I would have to say that I really enjoy Lauren’s voice not only in this song but every song she has sung! I have only had the chance to see you once in person, so I really enjoy watching the DVD’s. I was wondering the DVD “Red Letter Day” has the song Hallelujah Praise The Lamb. Have you recorded this on any CD? If you have which one, or if you have not are you planning on too?

Okay - confession time - I tend to like the faster songs better myself, but this one grabbed me the minute I started reading the words. This song is very special and reminded me of the time a couple of years ago when I “sat in God’s lap with my head on His shoulder while He held me and FINALLY got through to me that HE LOVES ME!!!” I was saved a lot of years before, but since that night a couple of years ago, life has been very different - and in a good way. This song is absolutely beautiful and now has a very special place in my heart. Can’t wait to hear the ‘finished’ product :)

See you guys in a couple of weeks at the school :)

    Roger,

Great tune. It has that smooth Talley-esk sound. Stage blocking will no doubt call for the stools on this one! ;-)

This is a nice song….probably number 4 on this list of what I’ve heard so far. I like the faster songs, but I appreciate the tight harmony (Talley style). I also appreciate the “old message” told in the “old style” once in a while, so we don’t forget the good old sounds.

    Thanks for letting us hear!
Can’t wait to buy it when it comes out!!

This is going to be a cool song. Good lyrics and a throwback to some old school country. The first time I heard it I thought about the Gretchen Wilson song When I Think About Cheating as far as style, which was a throwback. Listenting to it again, it sounds like something that the Rambos would have recorded back in the day.

I too, am usually a fan of the faster songs but this one is my favorite so far and I’ve heard 7 of them.
What happened to the second verse? This one should be your first radio release off the project. It’s really different and it just somehow draws you in. Sandy is a great songwriter, and your arrangement is great!

I have listened to every song, and love them all.You guys have always been my favorite group. I can’t wait to hear the new CD. Two ladies from my church and I have a group. We sing at various local churches. Most of the songs we sing are your songs, using your tracks. One of the songs we sing is Travelin’ Light. Debra wrote a great song, and we love it so much we took it for the name of our group. Keep up the good work, and we look forward to hearing the new project. You guys are awesome.
