I Will Sing Of My Redeemer (song #7)

Here we go folks with the seventh song! And remember to subscribe if you haven’t already.  We’ll soon be showing some video recordings of our actual vocals.  Also soon, we’ll be putting up photos and asking for your help in choosing among them for our CD cover.

I WILL SING OF MY REDEEMER

Verse 1
I will sing of my Redeemer
He who took the nails for me
I’ve been purchased, I’ve been pardoned
Bound to Him I’m truly free

Verse 2
I will sing of my Redeemer
How He sought me while a slave
Loosed me from the curse of sin and
From the power of the grave

Chorus
I will sing of my Redeemer
Lift my voice to praise the Lord
Ransomed by His blood and mercy
I am His forevermore

Verse 3
I will sing of my Redeemer
He who bore my cross my curse
Came a servant, chose to suffer
Lifted up and cast from earth

Chorus

Bridge
Redeemed, Redeemed
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
Redeemed, Redeemed
His child and forever I am

Verse 4
I will sing of my Redeemer
Tell about the grace I’ve known
Here on earth with those forgiven
And one day around his throne

Chorus

This song has a good message of God’ unconditional love. I’m sure that it will be a blesing to those that may feel unworthy at times.

WOW!! All of these songs have been great, but this one is so awesome! I’m glad I checked it out instead of just thinking it was the hymn from one of the other cds. Can’t wait until this cd is ready; it’s gonna be great!

    Hey Lauren,

This is Todd Smith, one of the writers of “I Will Sing of My Redeemer,” and a member of Selah. I think the last time we saw each other was several years ago at Praise Gathering. You sound wonderful on this recording. I was writing with Tony Wood and Chad Cates today (the other writers of Redeemer) and they told me you had recorded it. I am so excited your group is putting it on your next CD. It’s such an honor when another artist records a song you’ve written, especially with the kind of talent your family has.

    God bless you,

    Todd Smith
