There are more songs coming, but you’ve heard most of the songs now and we are asking you to help us name the album. Send us your idea for a GREAT title and tell us why you think it’s a good one. We’ll add it to the ideas we already have. We are making this recording for YOU and we sincerely want you involved in helping choose the name of it. We are looking for a title that finds a common theme from all or most of the songs. (We would prefer to NOT use a song title as the album title.) If we choose your idea, we’ll give you credit by printing your name in the CD insert. And feel free to submit more than one idea if you like. You have until noon Friday (EDT) to get your ideas in the contest.
Note: This is NOT the actual cover photo. We will be asking you to help choose that, too, a little later.

If the album name will come from one of the song titles, from the list of titles released so far, my vote would be for “Realms of Glory Bright.”
Several of the other titles would be great if they didn’t bear resemblance to past song titles / album titles (like “I will Sing of My Redeemer” or “Calvary and Amazing Grace”). But of the seven song titles released so far, I think “Realms of Glory Bright” is the most distinctive.
Reply to Daniel J. MountI agree with the previos reply “Realms of Glory Bright” or “Life Goes On”. So far I like every song they have chosen especially “Realms of Glory Bright”, “Life Goes On” and “I Will Sing of my Redeemer”.
Reply to RJ HendersonPossible Title:
Strong Tower
Reply to KimI heard about hope, faith, and love and one of those words were in nearly every song, so I believe that the appropiate name for this album is Hope, Faith, and Love.
Reply to Kasey GoodwinI will go with”TRUTHS OF FAITH”….simply because every song so far has been an increase and blessing to my “faith” and of course every word is “truth”..love ya guys greatly.
Please pray for Shari Easter with diagnoses of breast cancer…God is still in control! Remember Jeff and all the kids.
Reply to Mary CampbellMore Titles:
He who holds my hand
Realms of Glory
We shall Sing
Loved by You
And as I suggested previously: Strong Tower–it seems the message of the CD is related to praise and help in time of trouble. The “Hide me in the cleft of the rock” message to believers. I greatly anticipate this new CD and I’m confident that it will be uplifting to all who hear it!
Reply to KimHaving listened to the songs and reviewing the titles I would call the recording LIFELINES.
Whether you are in a good time or a bad time in your life, these songs connect you back to the truth of the gospel that keeps us anchored and secure at all times.
I love you three - you are special to me.
Reply to DAVID NIXThanks for including us in this process.
After listening to each song and reading the words over and over, I found that there are lines in each song that remind me of a title and that title is “Grace Divine.” In all of the songs there are lines throughout that remind me of His grace that is divine. For example in the song My Hope is in the Lord, there is a line that says no matter what happens in our lives our hope is always in him because of His grace divine. In the song The Winds of the World,” the line that says Jesus is with me when the storm clouds gather His grace is sufficient to stand the storm and His word is a promise that we can stand on he will always understand and never let us fall. I am reminded of “Grace Divine” in all songs as I listened and read them. When I think of Grace, I think it means God’s Riches at Christ Expense–Grace. And when I think of Divine I think of almighty the ultimate Jesus dying on the cross, never letting us fall and with sin erased we can live again and always loving us no matter what goes on in life shows His Grace and just how Divine it is.
Reply to Leigh Ann Smith“Hope To Live On … now and forever after”
Reply to RebeccaHow bout “Trustworthy” or “Trusting the Truth” ? I guess the reason i feel those might be good titles is that,so far in these songs, comes out the truth of life and the gospel and the neverchanging fact: HE is Trustworthy no matter what the situation. That’s the message coming across to me in these songs. OR the songs are a statement of faith that “WE” are “trusting the truth”. HEY theres one….”Statement of faith”!
Reply to DamonSuggested title for the album:
“From Grace to Glory”
Because the whole gamut of Grace and Glory is presented in the songs in this album, and I think “From Grace to Glory” says it all.
Reply to Ruth“A Life of Hope” - one song talks about Life going on, and at least another talks about hope. “Unchanging”, describes how God is with the attributes in the songs, and could apply to the Talley Trio also
Reply to MarkI know I just submitted, but wanted to add “A Lifetime of Hope” to my first suggestion.
Reply to MarkMy suggestion is ” Someday “. As I read all the lyrics, a common message came to me, that a time is coming when we will be done with these bodies of Sin, Sickness, and Pain.
Reply to JeffWe will done with this world of Brokenness and Strife. We will never see darkness, and no more tears. We will be HOME. When will that be ? Someday. SOMEDAY. ” Someday ” .
Well okay I just read they’d prefer a title that is not a title……well, what about “Holding out Hope”
Reply to RJ HendersonI like the idea that one person had “Life Lines”
Reply to RJ HendersonSomehow I missed the sentence where it says you would prefer not to have a song title as the album title. (That, or else the post was edited.
)
Standard operating procedure for many albums is to name them after their best song, but I like the older style even more. Back in the old Canaan / Heartwarming days, groups and labels weren’t afraid of longer titles, often with the group name as part of the title, and perhaps the connecting words to the main part of the title in small type. (The Bill Gaither Trio sings the Songs of Stuart Hamblen, The Florida Boys Sing About a New Day, etc.)
For a title along those lines, I would suggest pulling a line from the end of the first verse of “Calvary and Amazing Grace”: The Talley Trio sings the story that will Echo Through All Time.
(That, or substitute “message” for “story.”)
Reply to Daniel J. MountI should have added that “Echo Through All Time” might work as a standalone title, too.
Reply to Daniel J. MountAnother alternate, which I should have also mentioned the first time. “…that Echoes Through All Time” is a good adaptation as well.
Reply to Daniel J. MountSinging of Gods Amazing Hope and Love
Reply to BrianaThe Talley Trio sings of Their Redeemer (or …”Our Redeemer”). Straight out of the 70s and probably too retro.
Treasured Gift From v. 2 of “I’ve Never Been Loved Like You.”
The Talley Trio Prepares to Fly. From v. 3 of “Realms of Glory Bright.” It’s my favorite song from the project, so my favorite picks will probably have some tie to it.
Reply to Daniel J. MountFEAR AND FAITH
Reply to RJ HendersonMy suggestion is: The Talley Trio…Taking It Higher … To Our Redeemer.
These songs take ya’ll to a higher level. It is like nothing else you have done. So my thought is a take off from the quote of “Taking it to a Higher Level”. You have chosen songs and arranged them that is nothing like you’ve done before. You have taken your talent and praise to God to a Higher Level - He Who is our Redeemer.
blessings,
Reply to Bethbeth
I would like to suggest the title “LifeSongs” because the songs you have chosen encourage others through each stage of life!
You could also use “LifeNotes”
or how about “Echoes of Hope”
or even “Anchored In Hope”
Ok, I’ve probably thrown out enough ideas for now. Thanks for getting us involved in your ministry. You guys rock!!

Reply to HeidiHeidi
Hi, I like the Take it Higher, title, this is my suggestion: Higher Grace, that’s what we’re aiming for, and the place where, we hope to go, in the natural and the spiritual. Won’t it be wonderful, to see our Lord, and his Higher Grace, for all who are redeemed, to see His heavenly face.

Reply to kathy copelandLeigh Ann referred to my favorite acronymn:
“God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.”
I’ve seen it used on church signs, but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it used on an album cover (and I am a “collector” with almost 9,000 gospel LP albums plus hundeds of cassettes and CDs).
Maybe the other songs will help someone hit the “nail on the head.”
This is so great, though, to be permitted to participate in the process of completing such a marvelous project.
Reply to Jim WiltshireHey everyone,
I have to say I am amazed at the number of responses so far! Thank you for the great ideas. I can tell some of you have put a lot of thought into the process. It looks like this could be a difficult decision for us to make. Keep those ideas coming until Friday.
THANK YOU!!!
Reply to Roger TalleyMy thought for a title would be Ageless Grace-Victorious Life.
Reply to Janice VincentThe reason I thought of that is that the songs seem to ring that theme that God’s Grace is ageless, it has always been the same and always will, and because of that our life can be victorious.
This new album is such a wonderful concept. Letting your friends and fans take an active role in your production. I feel as though I have actually been with you during the whole process. It was a great experience and I hope we get to do it again. It’s not that you needed any help, it’s just that we are excited to take part in your awesome ministry. May God bless you the way your music blesses us. I can’t wait to get another Tally Trio DVD. I like this title.

Reply to Karen GhormleyWow Greg Parker, that is so weird. When I started my list, your post wasn’t there. It’s a great title though!
Reply to Karen GhormleyJust another thought on a album title for the new album: Our Redeemer:Our Hope Because without Our Redeemer, we have NO hope.
Reply to RuthI wasnt gonna post, but I will.
either ‘Hope’ or ‘Believe’ would be nice. Both are short, simple, sweet, and meaningful =)
Reply to Heather ChappleYeah I agree with Heather on that short, simple, sweet, and meaningful.
Reply to Haley PearceEver since the first song I could feel what the title of the new CD should be. His Glorious Love or the The Glory of His Love. Thanks for letting me express this .
Reply to Gene WelshHere are a few I’ve come up with:
Still Amazed
The Talley Trio (self-titled)
Abundant Grace
Faith to Carry On
Indescribable
Redemption
I can’t wait to hear the final product. You all are tremendous people and a true blessing!
Reply to NickThese titles, I feel, are appropriate because it seems that the undertone of the album is this amazing and indescribable love of God that has the power to draw us to Him, and not only that, sustain us through the trials that life brings our way. What an overwhelming thought! God’s grace and love will always be more than sufficient. Just some thoughts, anyway.
Reply to Nickone more…

Reply to NickI can’t remember whether it was a CCM or an SG project, but I seem to remember that there was a fairly well-publicized project 10 or 15 years ago that used that title.
Reply to Daniel J. MountHow About Grace bought it all or all through grace
might work since grace is needed in one form or the other for all things to work but then I am a grease monkey.

Reply to Tony PoteatWow…there have been so many great ideas for titles! With the songs I’ve heard so far, though, I would call it “Redeemed of the Lord,” since all of our hope is in Him and all of our praise comes from knowing the price that Jesus paid for our redemption. That’s the only idea I have right now, but I’ll be glad to have a copy of that cd no matter what it’s called!

A few suggestions for the title of your upcoming project:
Reply to Stephanie & Bryan Gish1.Unshakable Faith
2.Enduring Words
3.Enduring Faith
4.Steadfast & Sure
5.Victorious!
They are all a variation on the same theme. But illustrate well the different songs thus far. They all have a theme of help in time of trouble. We can have faith that is unshakable because our God never loses. The words that the Talley Trio are singing are words that will never change but will be enduring for all of eternity. The themes, the songs, the God that is being sung about are all steadfast & sure. I personally am partial to the word “Enduring” just because of the way it sounds in addition to its meaning.
Title: My Cross, His Mercy, Amazing Grace!
Reply to Christa SimonsWhen I was going through these songs, I read through the lyrics before I ever listened to the Music. The words To these songs are VERY powerful and will reach MANY people. This title Brings out, to me, 3 of the Most Powerful words that are associated with Our God. The CROSS he bore for us, the MERCY he showed to us, & the GRACE he bestows on us. What a POWERFUL way to reach out to someone just by 3 Simple but very Meaningful words.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!!!
Hi Talleys!
I thought of another one - how about “Portraits of Grace”
Love, Heidi
Reply to HeidiI love the idea of allowing us fans to help name the new project…
Reply to Shelly JonesMy name for the album would be “Celebration.” You want a title that holds true throughout the entire album. If you look at all the song titles thus far, there is something in each title (and especially in the lyrics of each track) that you can celebrate. “Realms of Glory Bright”: to God be the Glory! We as Christians should all be full of worshipful thanksgiving. “Calvary and Amazing Grace”: We can definitely find cause to celebrate over the victory won because of Calvary and the Amazing Grace we find in Jesus. “I’ve Never Been Loved Like You”: Love is poured out on us like we could never fathom because of what Jesus did for us in His death. We’re loved…I celebrate in that! “Life Goes On”: Because of His death and his unimaginable love for the lost, our lives go on. Had it not been for His passion for His children, we would have no hope… but our “Hope Is In The Lord”: another reason to shout His name! And “I Will Sing of My Redeemer”: He has rescued us from our sin, and for that I will be forever grateful… I think “Celebration” would be a fitting title.
I have two CD titles for you to consider:
Steadfast and Timeless Faith
Reply to Cheryl CampbellHow about “Getting Down To The Roots”
“Down to the Roots”
Since it is the Talley TREE-0 and since we are nothing if our roots are not firmly grounded in Christ Jesus.

If I may — I’d like to vote for one of the previous suggestions. I vote for “Loved By You”. ‘I’ve Never Been Loved Like You’ is a powerful song. This phrase summarizes it and the other songs as a whole. While doing so, it also makes a statement about your fans and the way you have allowed us to watch you and be a part of you in the studio. (While getting to enjoy Vann’s candlelight atmosphere!)

Reply to KennethHey guys! Bet you never thought I would be jumping in and shooting some ideas your way!! Well, here goes….I have actually been thinking alot about this since I received your email searching for a name for the album. In doing so, I search through alot of old songs and even listened to them hoping to find something that popped out! No luck! Then I got to thinking about a few other things. By definition, a “psalm” is a sacred song. Being able to listen to the first 7 songs, I realized that the message in each of them, portray something that is very sacred. I have always been one to look for the message in a song and while doing so, try to live the message in my mind once the instruments begin to play. I also try to imagine what Heaven will be like and I think of a grand symphony that Christ has so graciously created. I believe there will be no better sound! I have been thinking about this all week and I finally realized the message I have received from all 7 songs…..”Symphony of Psalm”. Thats my first idea but I have a couple others to throw out to you…
“Love Song for a Savior”
“Redeemed Forevermore”
Well, thats it for now! Gimme a shout when you can!
Reply to Bill KentBK
How about “Tune from the Talley Tree-o” or “Songs That Make You Go Woot Woot!”
Reply to Trevor SmithI think a good album title would be:
“One Eternal Day”
The result of all the lyrics of the songs point toward a day when there will be no sorrow. A day we anticipate when we will be in the presence of God Almighty to see His glorious face.
Reply to Jeffrey WeeksA couple of title ideas:
From Calvary to Realms of Glory
Keeping The Faith and Passing it On
Reply to EdMy song title idea is:
“Heaven’s Answer”
I think this would make a great title because all of the songs have a common theme about one day being in the Kingdom with Jesus. We are not promised tomorrow, but we are promised to be with our Heavenly Father.
Reply to Vanessa DunhamSelecting the appropriate title for this recording is most definitely going to be difficult for The Talley Trio.
I myself have even thought of a few possible titles, such as: Evidence or The Evidence Abounds, From Heaven To You, Harvest of Friends and last but not least INTERCESSION. This one I believe really sums it all up because of the friends of The Talley Trio interceding on their behalf in the decision process of the album title.
HARVEST OF FRIENDS could be a possible title, but if it were recorded by The Talley Trio then you would be using a song title for the album. But the song itself might actually go hand in hand (maybe it could be like a bonus track for the loyalty and dedication of those who have supported The Talley Trio) with the fact that the fans/friends of The Talley Trio have been touched by the ministry they have presented through the years. Which the song itself shares that thought in the chorus: “And friends are always around, to lift someone up when they’re down; And we’ve come to realize why friendship never ends, because through it all you’ll always reap, a harvest of friends,” and the first half of one of the verses says “We have traveled for the Lord many years, spreading lots of love happiness and cheer.” And the other half says “We may never know just who we may have touched, but things we may have said have blessed someone we trust; Although we’ll leave this world we’re going where life begins, where Jesus will say enter in for you have reaped a harvest of friends. ”
I know where to locate the song if it’s appeal seems to strike your interest for this suggestion. But, it is only a suggestion. But if you’d like you may call me on my cell phone about this song at (850) 867-8683 at anytime to expidite by-passing one another on the internet.
In the mean time, may your prayers and your hearts lead you in this deccision making process for the album title.

How about “Deeply Rooted” or “Winds”
Reply to Stephen WidenerGod Bless
I think the name of your new CD should be “Comfort Me”.
Debra did a wonderful job with that song.
Reply to Susie SweanyAnother title could be:
“One God, One Horizon”.
There is only one God and the song Comfort Me says it all. Awesome song.
Reply to Vanessa Dunhamok….welllll, it sounds like “Comfort me” might be a pivotal song for the project, and it sounds great! How bout, “simple faith” or “this one thing i know” or “never alone” ….hmmm,thinkin.
Reply to DamonHey Talleys, It was great seeing you at SHS this past week! What a great week. Sorry you couldn’t be there last night, you missed out on another great service. I looked through the songs that you had listed and tried to find a common thread. When I read the lyrics to The Winds of the World and Realms of Glory Bright, it brings about a mental image of a physical storm and how storms were used in the Bible to relate how Christ provides for us and embraces us no matter what kind of storm we may be facing in life. I was kind of thinking maybe something simple like “Sheltered” or “Shelter”. I had thought of maybe “Arms of Grace” when I read “Comfort Me”, but I did a search and the title was used for a song already. I did a search on “Sheltered” though and didn’t come up with anything. That’s all I have for now. I just got home a little while ago and after driving 12 3/4 hours straight my mind is not overly creative! Hope you get a lot of use out of the serving boards Debra. Have a great week Talleys!

Reply to Sam KerfootI have listened to all the songs and I think “Songs to Live By” would best sum up my thoughts about the new album. This is a play on “words to live by” because there are so many different wonderful words that come to mind after listening to your songs.
Reply to Michael ManningWell I’ve been really thinking about this and I think I’ve come up with a title…”Above,Through and In ALL”. It comes from Ephesians 4:4-6. Times are good and times are bad but God is there for it all. HE has ALL things in the palm of His hand and its all for us to learn, grow and become a better Christ-like person in the end… Since this album so far has so many things that reminds me of that and how we are just learning day by day. Its just a journey and none of us will be the “perfect man” until…
Reply to StephanieI like the title “Eternally Secure”..it kind of jumped out at me when i was reading through the lyrics.
God bless!
Reply to MelanieI think that “Something New” would be a good title because you guys are doing something new with this c.d. by having your fans help pick out the songs, and also having us be more involved than ever before. Great job so far! God definitely has His hands on this c.d.!
