Surprise Song Just For You (song # 9)

So many of you have asked us over the years if we would ever re-record this song, we decided to do that for this new album.  At concerts and churches, wherever we sing, this is always our most requested song. So here it is re-created just for all of you.

Hallelujah, Praise The Lamb

Verse 1
From the moment man
First disobeyed the Father
We were then held captive by our sin
The law of God demanded a sacrifice
Restoring to Himself His own again

Verse 2
So the Lamb His only Son
Was freely offered
Atonement for our sin
Forever made
He innocent and holy
Still God and God only
Could ransom and redeem us
Back again

Chorus
Hallelujah praise the Lamb
Hallelujah praise the Lamb
My heart sings His praise again
Hallelujah praise the Lamb

Bridge
So to the cross they carried Him
With all our guilt and all our sin
The Lamb of God was slain
For our transgressions
And on the cross
Those nail-pierced hands reached
Up to God and down to man
And just as if I’d never sinned
He took me in His arms
Embracing me he willingly forgave

Verse 3
For mercy grace and love
That knows no bounds
Though guilty and condemned
I now am free forever
I’m forgiven
For Christ the Lord is risen
And risen with Him
We will one day be

Chorus

Fabulous song with a fabulous voice singing and fabulous accompaniment (even if Roger isn’t playing it himself)!

The chorus sounds very familar but the verses seem totally new to me. Tremendous words!

IMO, that song title would also make a great album title.

I have heard of the Talley’s for years for the church in Zanesville, Ohio, Trinity Full Gospel, has had numerous groups here.
I saw you perform “broken people” on t.v. and was blown away by Lauren’s voice and that you are all family.
I have become an instant fan and will talk to my pastor and see if he will contact all of you and get you to our town.
