Recently, we were in Philadelphia, Mississippi for a WFCA radio station concert. It started out to be like most concerts with three other groups. As people began to come in the building and come to the product tables, God began to work. One of the first people I spoke to was a lady that told me that her husband was a pastor and he used some of our songs in their church. She asked for prayer for herself because she had thyroid cancer and had had surgery. The doctors were unable to get all of the cancer cells and she was facing more surgery. I noticed she was using a walker and she casually mentioned that she also had MS. It struck me that with her obvious disability and her serious less obvious illness, she seemed at peace. I assured her I would be praying for her as I wrote down her request.

Get The Album / Pick A Single !
OK! OK! WE HAVE AN ALBUM! And, because you have followed us all through the making of it, we want you to be the the first people to have access to it. The official release date is not until September 16 but we are going to make it available to you right away. First, because you deserve it, and second because we need your help (again). We need you to listen and give us your best idea for a radio single release. We will, of course, also be asking some others, like radio DJ’s, but we definitely want your input. We have to decide by September 15th, so get in on this as quickly as you can.
Realms Of Glory Bright: Final Mix
When we first posted some of the in-the-studio work on various songs, “Realms Of Glory Bright” got the most attention from you. Much work has gone on since you saw that early video. We slightly rearranged a part of the song based on a suggestion by Daniel Mount. Then we spent more days in the studio working on vocals and then added some orchestration (kudos to arranger Jason Webb). After everything on every song was actually recorded, we began the process of mixing. Basically, mixing makes sure that every instrument and vocal part is exactly at the right volume level everywhere in the song. Mixing requires as much time as recording the music, or recording the vocals. It is where everything gets polished.
So, for all of you who are showing your loyalty to us and this Tree-o website, here is the final version of “Realms” for you to hear and, as always, tell us what you think.
CD Cover Choices
Thanks to everyone for your comments on our cover design. Nearly 100 of you have made your very spirited choices. Some of you have even changed your mind after thinking about it.
CD Cover Design Ideas
OK. We’re getting close to the finish line! Here are some cover designs that our graphic artist has created. We are looking at them to see what parts of each design we like the best. What do YOU think? Let us hear from you. We have to decide really soon because we are trying to have this completed and manufactured in time to bring it to NQC. (Click to enlarge.)

About The Recording Process…
Several people have commented about the time we spend working on the songs, so I’ve decided to explain the recording process in a little more detail. We spend a lot of time listening to songs and searching for the right songs before the recording begins. We probably listen to at least 200 songs, then narrow the list down to 20-25. Choosing the final 10-12 is probably the hardest part. Many times one of us will really like a particular song, but the other two end up voting it down. Each one of us have certain types of songs that we do best, and many times that person has to make the final decision about which song they want to sing every night for the next 2 years (or longer)!
