OK. We’re getting close to the finish line! Here are some cover designs that our graphic artist has created. We are looking at them to see what parts of each design we like the best. What do YOU think? Let us hear from you. We have to decide really soon because we are trying to have this completed and manufactured in time to bring it to NQC. (Click to enlarge.)

All four of them are great, but cover #1 is the best in my oppinion. The background is perfect, your smiles are perfect, and the poses are perfect. I will be happy with any picture you choose though because the cd will be great no matter what. Thank you so very much for letting me be a part of this cd. Ya’ll are great people.
Reply to Kasey#3 . . . all the pieces fell into place on this cover. This should definitely be the cover.
Reply to ThomasI agree with Thomas!
Reply to Mette Vestberg SørensenI like the way The Talley Trio is written. Modern and clean. Not nostalgic. Norway will like that cover! But we like you anyway.
Good luck!
klem Mette
Definitely #1. You look like a family, and natural in #1, and that is what you are ! The other covers you look separated and look like you posed for it ! That is my humble opinion. Thank You for the journey, it was fun !
Reply to JeffYeah - that’s it! I couldn’t quite put my finger on why I kept going back to Cover #1 - but you hit the nail on the head! Thanks
Reply to KathrynI like #1over all but if you guys really like the seperated 3 photos of you guys for the cover I like #2 the best out of those 3 kind of choices.
Reply to StephanieI definitely prefer #1.
Reply to Daniel J. MountCast my vote for #1 as well. It’s a very sharp, classy looking cover.
Reply to Wes BurkeI’d have to say #1. It reminds me a lot of the cover of my favorite Talley Trio cd,”Hope for Tomorrow.” BTW-Is there a projected release date for the album?
Reply to Andrew S.I like #1. I do not like the covers where you are split apart. You need to be seen as a trio–not individuals.
Can’t wait for the CD.
Reply to DeanaSorry,I meant to state the reason behind my inquiry. I won’t be at NQC to get it directly from y’all…that’s why..
Reply to Andrew S.I would go with cover #1.
Reply to Susie SweanyI would go with #1. All are great pictures!
Reply to Linda Blevinscover no.2 woube my vote
Reply to duane#1
Reply to Heatherdefinately #1 I like the family (trio) picture
Reply to Barb LarsonI keep coming back to Cover #1 - the others are good but they just don’t really do each of you justice - well, I don’t think so anyway. Cover #1 looks more like y’all than the others.
Have fun choosing - I HATE making decisions! LOL
Kathryn
Reply to Kathryn#1 is the one you should use
Reply to Robin GarrettI agree with the majority here (very unusual for me LOL!) I think there’s no question that #1 stands out above the rest.
HOWEVER: I do like the way The Talley Trio is written out in # 3 the best of any of the others.
Thanks so much for letting us be a part of all this! it’s been really fun.
Reply to Karen GhormleyI choose cover #1 because the other covers focus too much on individuals and cover #1 focuses on you as a group (a trio). May God continue to bless you all and I look forward to hearing you all later this month at Philadelphia, Mississippi. Take care.
Reply to Jeffrey WeeksI really think #1 is the better cover. The other cover looks like a prior project. I am anxious to hear the finished product, I always enjoy your songs and arrangements. God Bless..
Reply to GenaRoger I personally like the facial expressions on number 1 best. I think the writing on #1 is even better. I like being able to see the whole person rather than looking like it is just a mug shot. The expression on the others has Lauren looking lik eshe wants to just get it over. lol I would also like to know if you have any visits scheduled to Texas for 2009!!!!!!! Please i am having with drawels really bad.
Reply to Mike McCainI like them all but #1 is the best. It shows you all more as a family. Can not wait for the new CD to come out. Thank You for letting us be a part of this it has been fun and you all are great people.
Reply to Amy YoderKeep up the good work

I vote for #2 - I like the closer, individual pics better - and I think #2 is more flattering of Debra and Roger. I also like what’s happening with the fonts - the script logo breathes a little more life into it, while the shadowy effect on the title makes the project appear more cutting edge - much like your music. I think the paint splattered block wall works best if you can’t really distinguish the concrete blocks - otherwise it looks like a homemade backdrop.
Reply to Marty FunderburkI prefer #1.
Reply to Aaron SwainI personally like number one the best. If you are going for split pictures
Reply to Gary Hoseythen I vote for number 2.
I think # 1 is the winner. It looks as if the photograph is saying, you had a fun time making this CD together as family.:) At least, it was fun for us being given the opportunity to experience, “The Making of Life Goes on with the Talley trio”
I hope that you continue to have fun making more projects in the future!!! And yes Lauren, I’m a sweet tea lover as well…nothing better to wet your whistle on a hot summer day… take care!
Reply to KimNumber one by far the best, you do not need to be separated by lines.
Reply to Jim EvansI prefer #1. It’s very natural looking of the three of you……whole as a family should be!
Reply to GLENDAI think #1 is the best! Thank you for letting us be part of this project. I can’t wait until the next Cd comes out. Thanks!
Reply to StephanieI agree with so many that cover #1 is the best of the best!
I like that you are all together and not separated by the lines for the cover. Maybe the individual photos can be used inside?
Thanks for including us. Can’t wait for the CD to come out!

I would have to agree with most of the others. I would have to go with number one for the cover. I like the full view of you standing together as opposed to the closeups. I think the pose is good and the smiles are really good. I think that is the best shot of Roger out of all four photos. The only thing about number one might be the font for Talley Trio. It’s not bad, but I’m a little torn between that and the font used in number three. If you did use the font in number three it might look better if it were a little bolder though. That’s just my opinion though. I’m not a musician, so I can’t comment much on the technical end of the music, but I am a printer by trade. I run printing presses and for a living so I get to see this kinda thing EVERY day. I think number one, possibly with a different font for the name. Take care Talleys!
Sam Kerfoot
Reply to Sam KerfootI also prefer #1…
Reply to Jim Wiltshire0,2,&3 are nice and the pictures look great but the fonts seem to get lost in the pink color. Even on the title line “goes” in “Life Goes On” doesn’t stand out. So I will vote for #1 for complete design. I’m going to buy it regardless I promise.
Reply to Jason FieldsI say that all the covers are good. But I agree with Karen that #1 is the best and that you should use the lettering of #3 with the pic off #1. Can’t wait to hear the finished product.
Reply to Stephen WidenerI say #1 - Mom says #1 - Dad says #1. Yeah, dad got in on it too.
Oh and Kali says # 1 too! hehe
Reply to Heather ChappleI really like #1 also. I don’t know if you have enjoyed letting us in so close? but I have really enjoyed being a part of this. it makes this cd seem more personal. I love each cd that I have of ya’ll but this one will be very special! and sweet tea can’t be beat!
Reply to louiseRoger, Charles and I vote for #1. We would like for you all to come back to Texas real soon.
Reply to Joyce BusterI really like number #1 too!! :).
Reply to Ashley#1 or #3 I would go for #1 first choice.
Reply to RebeccaI really think that #1 is the one! Plus I like the way “The Talley Trio” is written above the photo. It really adds alot of class!
Reply to Bill KentHello! I would have to say #1. I like the way that you all look in this photo.
Reply to Mark BehrensNumber one for me also!
Reply to Meagan WilliamsAllow me to disagree with almost everyone here…
#3 ROCKS!
It’s different from ANYTHING you’ve ever done before. It’s strong. It’s bold.
Your CD is like a kid. Not many people understand that. You’re putting a new thing out in the world. So, for the people who wrote that you should pick #1 because it looks like all the other CD’s you’ve ever done — I’d like for them to think about how it would feel if each child they had was the exact same as their oldest. And if everyone said, “You should just keep having the same kid over and over again.” It’d be boring that way!
I support something bold. After all, this is about FAITH and TRIUMPH and LIFE. And #3 says just that.
Plus - Lauren looks WAY cool in that shot!
Reply to SongGirlI vote #1–looks classic to me, but if you’re going for more trendy, then #3. Great designs for all.
Reply to Melanie SmithI would go with #2
Reply to Briana#1
Reply to HaleyI think # 1 is the best . all of them are good but one is more of family looking picture I love it most . Hope I get one at NQC ,see you there.
Reply to gene welshI like #2 the best. Really enjoyed the concert in New Bern, NC last month. It was more of a worship service than a concert and it felt like we were all family. Thank you and God bless.
Reply to Mike SaulterThe one that I keep comming back to is cover # 1. There is something about this one that brings me back to it . They all are great . God Bless and you will pick the right one .
Reply to PeggyI like #1 & #4.
Reply to RJ HendersonAgree with SongGirl Number 3 totally rocks. Number 1 looks like a traditional SG poster. It gets totally lost. Nothing distinctive about the shot other than the “family” or “trio” idea. #3 is different enough to make it stand out in a crowd. The shots are absolutely great. Lauren you look fantastic. This cover can stand up against any in Christian music.
Reply to Sales Guy#1
Reply to DON SHENKLike #1.
Reply to Michael ManningI agree with SongGirl and Sales Guy. #3 is something different and really stands out. If I saw #3 in the store, I would stop and look. If I saw #1…I’m not sure.
Reply to AJSorry. It took me till NOW to realize that there is not a pic. called #4. I meant to say the #1 & #3. I asked my little sister and she likes #2.
Reply to RJ HendersonI like them all!
Reply to JC#1. SAME SMILES MAKE FOR A MORE HARMONIOUS PHOTO.
Reply to BobI feel that #3 three would make a great cover. #1 would be the type of photo that would be great for either the inside of the sleeve or on the back of the case. Photo #3 just says “Album Cover”!!
Reply to Rachel Dunni love, love, love #3. what’s up w/ the “family” comments on #1? we all know you’re a family. if we didn’t, the “talley trio” name may give us a few clues. i just like the shots, fonts, etc. on #3. and if we want to get all psychological here, let me say that #3 showcases each of you individually, reminding us all that you are each your own person within a family, not just “the talley trio.”
ps - SongGirl is right; #1 is too predictable.
Reply to ElisabethIf I have to choose from the existing templates my favorite is #1. Well that’s the short story but now for
Reply to Edthe rest of the story………
#3 is extremely reminiscent of the project “Hope For Tomorrow”….even the type-set & order of the photos. So lets do something different. Speaking of type-set…. that straight edge print appears also on “The Message”, “Rise Above”, “Stages”, “Life Story”, “encore”, “Praise For The Ages”…….& others so I really like the change up using the script logo. The shadow effect is good with it also.
In Roger’s introduction to this phase I notice that he said they’re deciding which PARTS of the design they like best so if I may recommend a new template based on the elements shown above…….on #1 I’d like it better to include the rest of Roger’s head & maybe change the color of the word “GOES” to more of a Magenta pink (pulled from the color in Lauren’s top in the photo). For #2 with the indiviual shots same change on the word “GOES” to magenta pink & also change the color type of “the talley trio” to the green like in #1 example. Well there’s my 2 cents worth - maybe a quarter’s worth - LOL.
I’ll have to admit COVER # 3 seems to be more appealing to me for LIFE GOES ON. The smiles individually obviously tells a story for each ones life as they continue to press on toward the mark of their calling. Not to shammy or subtle it just naturally seems more appropriate for me select cover # 3.
Great job faithful warriors of the cross.
Reply to Tim Obert (Timotheus8)I like #1 cover the best. The others don’t look like Lauren and I like all of you together too. From Timmy in OK - God bless you.
Reply to Timmy Smith#4
Reply to Tim# 1 because that is what you are to me and many others! It shows unity and family, just what the Lord ordained.
Reply to Mary CampbellI think cover # 1 is the best. Best poses and good natural smiles. I Really enjoy your interactive web site.
Reply to Don KunzI have to agree with so many others. I vote for #1 over the others and #3 as a second choice. I love your smiles in #1. I wish it was ready this month when you are to be in Seminole, Okla. My grandkids and I plan to see you there.
Reply to Roberta MorganCover #1 is the best, but I would suggest to the graphic artist that he angle the photo just a little so there isn’t so much of Roger’s head cut off. Other than that, #1 is the best!!!
Reply to Cheryl CampbellHi, I like #1 cover, I think the green solid background, is very nice, makes you guys stand out, even more. The rest, are good to but #1’s my pick. I’m glad, to have been a part, of this whole process, it’s been fun. I hope, you do this for your, next C.D. to.
Can’t wait, for it to come out, I hope to get it, as well as a bunch of other C.D.’s. Be blessed.
Reply to angela mobleyDefinitely #1 by far!!!
Noah
Reply to WOSM Radio GuyI like cover # 1. It’s a good group shot, and everyone is happy. I still like the green background.
Reply to LucyI would pick #1 for my southern gospel music venues
Reply to GospelMusicFanas it tends to be more traditional.
I take #0, #2, or #3 for my going to church on Sunday concerts since that the trend in churches today.
I like #3 the best. Debra is smiling & I like that.
Reply to Elaine HarcourtAs much as I love you, the picture of Lauren makes her look like she is trying to look sexy and I know that is not the image you are trying to portray. It is pretty but I don’t think it is appropriate for the album cover. Please don’t hate me. Just my own thought when I saw it.

Reply to katie swabp. S. I pick ####### 111111111111
I choose COVER #1!!!! I like the fact that it is a group shot and not 3 individual ones side-by-side.
Reply to Sarah#1 it is. Life Goes On “united” is better than Life Goes On “separated”. That is a wonderful family photo.
Reply to LindsayI agree that all the covers are wonderful. However, my favorites are #0 and #3.
Reply to Vanessa Dunham#3 It is different and WAY cool from anything you have ever done before….GO FOR IT!!!
Reply to JenniferI like #3 because Debra looks crooked in #1. Also the fonts are better and clearer in #3. Thanks for asking our opinion! And I don’t think any group has ever sung “Truth is Marching On” any better than the Talley Trio! Blessings, Nancy Schrader
Reply to Nancy SchraderDefinitely #1!
Reply to Stanley ThompsonWell, I change my mind. I like the individual head shots for the cover and the group for the back or one of the ones in the cover. For some reason I am very indecisive. HA
Reply to RJ HendersonNumber #3
Reply to Jim E. Davisvery cool!
The Halsne family likes nr. 3 best….
Reply to AudI like Cover #1.
Reply to Sharon KaddatzI’m gonna go with #1. The other 3 look like Lauren is staring at me…I mean, I could deal with that and all, but I still like #1 the best.
Reply to ScootI like Cover #1 It has a more natural look to it and you are a very nice looking family.
Reply to Harry Peters# 1 is great!
God Bless!
Reply to MelanieHi guys! I like cover #1 because of your smiles look so awesome. I like them all, but my favorite is #1. You all are #1 in my book anyway. Your music and especially your spirits and your testimonies are so uplifting and you all are so real. God is using you all throughout our nation and I thank you for allowing God to use you. I hope that you all get closer to the Warren, Ohio area again soon. I know that you all are in Ohio on occasion, but I have not been able to make the 3 to 4 our trip to see you.
Hopefully soon. God Bless you all and keep serving and praising our wonderful God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Reply to Steve SardichSteve Sardich
NO doubt — #1 is number one!!
Reply to Melanie#3 for sure.. great design.. eye catching and fresh
Reply to BA#3 - I like the font much better on that one. #1 would be my next choice but I don’t like the top of Roger’s head being the only one partially missing.
Reply to New FanI like the #2 because of the title written in a different style than the box letters at the top of #3. The pics on the front seem to be the same on #2 and #3. But i would like to see “The Talley Trio” written in green like in #1 at the top. But my next choice would be #1. They are all good but the orange color is sort of transparent and the green stands out more. I believe if possible that they should try the green color in the heading instead of the orange. Which ever cover is used it will be great. Thank you
Reply to JohnI am the pastor of a Southern Baptist Church by the name of Red Apple Baptist Church located in Boaz Alabama. After a few difficult years our church is beginning to turn the corner to full serice for the Lord. I have always been a fan of yours and since you gave a performance about two years ago at Sweet Home Baptist Church Guntersville
Reply to Rev. Wayne CanfieldAlabama I have been wondering what would be the possibilty of your group honoring us at some date in the future for a Sunday morning service. If this
is a possibility would it be possible to know in advance approximately what the
cost would be.Our church would be greatly honored by your presence. If you can be with us I would concider it a personal favor if Debra would sing “God Took Away My Yesterdays” just for me. Also where can I obtain a CD of that song witrh Debra doing the vocal?
May God continue to bless your ministry and you are in our prayers.
I like #1, That should be the one choosen for the #1 gospel group in the country!!!
