Realms Of Glory Bright: Final Mix

When we first posted some of the in-the-studio work on various songs, “Realms Of Glory Bright” got the most attention from you. Much work has gone on since you saw that early video. We slightly rearranged a part of the song based on a suggestion by Daniel Mount.  Then we spent more days in the studio working on vocals and then added some orchestration (kudos to arranger Jason Webb).  After everything on every song was actually recorded, we began the process of mixing.  Basically, mixing makes sure that every instrument and vocal part is exactly at the right volume level everywhere in the song.  Mixing requires as much time as recording the music, or recording the vocals. It is where everything gets polished.

So, for all of you who are showing your loyalty to us and this Tree-o website, here is the final version of “Realms” for you to hear and, as always, tell us what you think.

    Great job.

This song is now be in my top 3 Talleys/Talley Trio favorites (with “Hallelujah Praise the Lamb” and “Triumphantly the Church Will Rise”).

Wow. The Lord has really blessed you all on this song. What great vocals with a great choice of music and instruments. Lord willing, I can’t wait to hear you all again in concert this Saturday night in Philadelphia, MS. Will you all be singing any of the new songs on your latest project? I wouldn’t mind hearing this one again live. May the Lord bless you all.

I love the final version of this song! If I remember right, the suggestion was to have the instruments cut out (except strings) when the words say “there was silence” and then have them come back in when it says “the cross was lifted up”…..the final version is very powerful in that section.

    Great job!
When is the date of the release for this project again? Has it been set?

Nice song, but I think I need to hear it live to get its full impact. Watching people perform their songs is much more powerful and moving for me. Then when I hear the recordings there seems to be a stronger connection.

This is going to be a ‘must have’ CD.

The music and your voices are wonderful, and I especially love the way this song tells the gospel story. Can’t wait to hear this on the radio–the station I mostly listen to is XM-Enlighten 34–and I will definitely get the CD.

    Lauren:

I just downloaded the “.mp3″ of “Realms of Glory Bright” from the Crossroads web site. I absolutely love that song. So majestic and the vocals and instrumentation are so inspiring.

I was wondering, do you know how I would go about getting the soundtrack for this song? I’d like to work it up with a couple of gals at church for the coming Christmas season but I can’t find the soundtrack for this song anywhere. Any suggestions, or secret places I could look to find the soundtrack to this song?
