OK! OK! WE HAVE AN ALBUM! And, because you have followed us all through the making of it, we want you to be the the first people to have access to it. The official release date is not until September 16 but we are going to make it available to you right away. First, because you deserve it, and second because we need your help (again). We need you to listen and give us your best idea for a radio single release. We will, of course, also be asking some others, like radio DJ’s, but we definitely want your input. We have to decide by September 15th, so get in on this as quickly as you can.
Now. How to get the album. You have two choices.
The first choice is to go to our regular website tonight (Friday Aug. 22) and pre-order the CD. (If you look over to the right-hand column on this page, you will see “TALLEY LINKS” with a “purchase albums” underneath it.) Click on the “purchase albums” link and you will be taken to where you can pre-order the CD. As soon as we have the CD’s, about September 1st, we’ll send it right out to you! Then you can come back here and post your pick for radio single.
If you just can’t wait that long, here’s your second choice. Click THIS LINK and it will take you to the Crossroads website where you can get a digital download of the album, complete with all the artwork so you can print it. You can listen on the computer or burn a CD to listen anywhere. This is for those of you who want instant gratification. And who want to get your radio single choice posted here ahead of those waiting on the CD.
Or you could do both–get the digital version now and order the regular CD, too.
We can’t wait to hear what y’all think!! Come back here after you listen and tell us your favorite.

I’m assuming you won’t be sending “Hallelujah, Praise the Lamb” to radio, since that has already been a radio hit for the Talleys.
So…my vote goes to “Realms of Glory Bright.”
Reply to Daniel J. MountUpon further thought (and on my sixth listen through the project), I find myself starting to wish the charts moved a little faster. In addition to the two I mentioned in my initial post, I’d also love to hear “I Will Sing of My Redeemer” and “Life Goes On” on radio.
Because of its soaring lyrics, “Realms of Glory Bright” is still my pick to go first, but any of the four would be great.
Reply to Daniel J. MountDecisions, decisions… how many do you get to publish on radio? Is it at least 3 songs or so? My first choice would be an upbeat song like “Winds of This World” or “Jesus You Are.” Of course your ballads are phenomenal because of the great harmonies, too so…in that case I would go with “I Will Sing of My Redeemer.” Or, “Realms of Glory Bright.” Whew! That really narrowed it down, I’m sure! Ha!:) Hope that helps.:)
Reply to KimI love all of the songs from this cd but the two that stand out the most for me are The Winds of This World and Life Goes On, becaue for me they remind me of a time in my life when the winds were so strong a part of me did not believe that life could go on, but then all of a sudden something changed and I realized that life does go on. To me either one of those songs would make a good single. I have always been inspired by all of your music and I want you to know that this means so much to me, to have gotten to have a say in this cd, because you have had a huge impact on my life and as for Lauren she is my heroe. Thanks again.

Hey guys!! The CD sounds great! As I listened to each song, I tried to think of which song that would make me jump to the volume button and crank it up if I were to hear this on the radio! Since knowing all of you, I have to be honest and say that I am that way with every song, but I try to put myself in the shoes of someone who may have never heard you sing. Although “Winds of This World” and “Jesus You Are” are powerful, upbeat songs, I really think that “Life Goes On” is the one that really gets my attention. If I had never heard ya’ll sing, that one would be the one that would make me “crank it up”!!
Thats it for now! See you soon!
Reply to Bill KentBK
“Life goes on” would be my pick. I like the message and music. Who is the piano player on this? He is great! Roger I know you from the supernals.
Love your music,
Pudgie
Reply to Pudgie SmithHi Pudgie,
Jason Webb played all piano and keyboards on this project. He also arranged and conducted all of the orchestrations.
Reply to Lauren TalleyThey all sound good! I think “I will sing of my Redeemer” Is a good one for the Radio Single. However, Anyone would make it! God Bless!
Kendalyn
Reply to Kendalyn PowersHey! I think “Jesus You Are” is a good upbeat song to release to the radio staions, but I also like “Calvary & Amazing Grace” and “Realms of Glory Bright”. These are my favorites, but all of them sound great!! Any of them will do well!
Reply to GLENDAHi, I’m going to vote, for Jesus You Are, for the first single, for radio release. I liked, how you used both sets of pictures, for the C.D. as well. Good Luck, with this C.D. and God Bless You, to.
Angela Mobley.
Reply to angela mobleyTo pick a single is almost impossible, so my vote is one song at the time until all of them are singles.
)
Reply to RebeccaSeriously my first pick would be “Winds Of The World”
Then “Comfort Me” or “I’ve Never Been Loved Like You”
I would call this CD a moody CD, it’s a good mix when it comes to messages and styles of songs. There is something for everyone and for every mood. I look forward to getting a copy of your new CD soon.
Realms Of Glory Bright is my pick ! It is so uplifting and TRUE. I wish you the very best with this new CD, and hope Realms Of Glory Bright goes to # 1. I hope all goes well for you guys at the NQC. Just remember, your fans are right behind you, praying for you ! Thank You.
Reply to JeffIm very excited about this album.. it has such a great mix of styles, from Southern Gospel to a Black Gospel Feel to Contemporary! The Lord really had His Hand in the making of this album! I can’t wait to hear the finished product! I just pre-orded my copy! I look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow night in Philadelphia, MS!
Reply to Stanley ThompsonAll of the songs on this CD are amazing. I really like “Jesus You Are” and “Realms of Glory Bright”. Your harmonies are beautiful so any song you pick will be great. Thank you for using your talents for the Lord.
Reply to Elizabeth ShawMy vote is for “Life Goes On” – hands down favorite
Reply to Marty FunderburkHey guys this is a tough one . After hearing all the songs I keep going back to Realms Of Glory Bright. My second choice is My Hope Is In the Lord. They are all good and I’M sure that they will all be hits. I have enjoyed this so much. Thanks for letting me be a part of this project.
Reply to PeggyHello! I downloaded the new album, and WOW! My song of choice would be, “Hallelujah Praise The Lamb”. I first heard this song on the DVD, Red Letter Day, and I have loved it ever since! It has a very powerful message and I love Lauren voice!
Reply to Mark BehrensI really, really love the orchestration on this song, especially the strings in the beginning and the way all the instrumenal parts cut out at the end and you come in with parts (acapella)at the end!!
I like Realms of Glory Bright.
Reply to Joyce BusterI think y’all should release Winds of This World as sort of a follow-up to That’s Enough. Those have that “Talley Trio attitude” (i.e.-Mountain Mover, Testify, Jesus Dropped the Charges, and Jesus Be a Fence around Me)and they have interlocking messages. If you released a second or even a third single, “I’ve Never Been Loved like You” and “Realms of Glory Bright.” Thanks though for listening to our output!
Reply to Andrew S.i keep going back to jesus you are.
Reply to louiseI’ve never been loved like you or Jesus you are are the two songs I would choose from. They are all great but these are my favorites.
Reply to Robin GarrettLife Goes On is my pick, but as good as they all are this is hard to do . Thanks so much for letting us help. God Bless
Reply to gene welshThis is SOOOOOO exciting!!!!
I just downloaded the album and will listen to it today as I travel!!

It’s been a while since we heard a radio single in the vein of “Searchin’.” “Winds Of This World” would remind fans of the type of song that attracted many of them to the Talley Trio in the first place.
I think the other obvious choice is “Jesus You Are.” It’s a simple lyric, but it’s the sort of lyric that sticks in your head.
Reply to David Bruce MurrayI love “I Will Sing of My Redeemer.” Ever since I heard it initially, I haven’t been able to get it out of my head.
Reply to AlyssaNow the problem is all the songs are great songs. And there are a few that really that out and speak to me. You guys always pray before you send out songs to radio and I wouldn’t care what you decide because the Lord always uses the songs you pick to minister to people everywhere.
Reply to Stephen WidenerIf I were to say the one I’d pick is “Realms of Glory Bright.”
I just wanted to say that I had a great time at the concert… sorry, i didn’t get to say Goodbye… we had to leave before it was over. My girlfriend Ashley wasn’t feeling well. Please keep her in your prayers. She has been having alot of health problems. Pray for her complete healing, and that God would give the doctors wisdom in knowing how to treat her! Thanks!
Stanley
Reply to Stanley ThompsonWell I worked hard at this. I listened and studied all the songs several times and it was not easy but here is my choice. “Winds of this world”. Lauren does a fantastic job and I love the message. I hope, no I know this will be a great success. It has been a great pleasure for an old man to have been a small part of this process. God speed
Reply to Don KunzDon
Well if it was me I would either do “Life Goes On”, “Realms of Glory Bright” or “Hallelujah Praise the Lamb”. But they are all so awesome it’s hard to chose just one.
Reply to RJ HendersonGreetings from Houston, Tx!!! Wow, what a great song selection for your new project. Sure to be a favorite for years to come. With a listen to the samples from Crossroads website….there are several #1’s from this project. Favorites…..Jesus You Are, Life Goes On and Wind Of This World. Blessings, Robin
Reply to Robin SopchakLife Goes On – definitely the pick for first single.
Reply to Greta BooneMy first choice would be “Life Goes On”
2nd choice is “Realms of Glory Bright”
I’ve listened to these songs all night on my ipod while at work (10 hour shift) so I had lots of time to think about this.
The CD has such a variety of styles of music. The harmony is awesome and tight….actually gives me goosebumps. I’ve cried and clapped, prayed and celebrated the ONE to whom we all sing our praises.
The song “My Hope” is so powerful. I’m approaching the 5th anniversary of my only child (daughter) going to heaven unexpectedly and this song ministers to my aching heart. Truly I have learned that even in the deepest darkness that can’t be imagined……MY HOPE is in Christ!
I’m looking forward to seeing how God uses this music for HIS kingdom! Well done!!
Thank you for making this CD available to us early! What a treat!!

Definitely the title song “Life Goes On” followed closely by “My Hope”.
Reply to BryanHi Pudge,
That’s Jason webb playing on this project. He plays just like I would, if only I could!! Haha. He has a great feel for Southern Gospel as well as unbelieveable technical skills.
Reply to roger talleySee you soon!
Roger, what are you saying? Ha! I heard you play at the music school, and I was impressed! I do not say this lightly either. Truly, you are one out of three of the best pianists I’ve ever heard.
Reply to AlyssaMy vote for the first single is for “Calvary and Amazing Grace.” Beautiful, beautiful song… well done y’all.
Reply to ShellyJesus You Are gets my vote. It features all of you singing right off the bat and the driving beat makes it a great single to release to radio.
Reply to Cheryl CampbellI Will Sing of My Redeemer
Realms of Glory Bright
Jesus You Are
These 3 songs get my vote because of the lyrics and the tempo. I like all the songs, but these just stood out.
Reply to Vanessa DunhamAll of the songs on the new album are awesome! I love your version of “Winds of This World” and I would like to see that one or “Jesus You Are” as the first single to radio. I am curious to see how “Winds Of This World” would do as a single because I think Charles Johnson had that as a single at one time.
My other favorites are “Calvary and Amazing Grace”, “I’ve Never Been Loved By You” and “My Hope Is In The Lord”.
Keep up the good work!
Reply to Gary HoseyI love the new album! My favorite is “Life Goes On” and “Calvary and Amazing Grace”. I really love all the songs on the new album but these two are my favorite. Also I love “Winds of This World”. Lauren you do an awesome job on “Winds of This World” Debra you did a great job on “Comfort Me”. Roger you also did a good job on “My Hope”. God Bless!
Reply to StephanieI would say “Winds of this world” radio is loving the toe tappers these days and Lauren does a GREAT job on this song.. as usual.
Reply to BAAfter listening to the CD a couple of times, I have three favorite: Realms of Glory Bright, Life Goes On, and Calvary and Amazing Grace.
Reply to Michael ManningI think “Jesus You Are” would be a great choice for the debut single, as it is upbeat and very catchy. “Life Goes On” or “Winds Of This World” would also be good choices. I agree with David Murray, “Winds Of This World” would probably remind your longtime fans of “Searchin’.”
Reply to Wes BurkeI asked my Mom and my little sister and they both think “Life Goes On” and “I Will Sing of My Redeemer”.
Reply to RJ HendersonRealms of Glory Bright, gets my vote for the first single! Its upbeat, has a great message, has high energy, and fantastic harmony! I just got my cd in the mail today, and It is awesome!I’ve been listening to it all day long! Every song is my favorite! THis is such a great album!!
Reply to Stanley ThompsonGot the CD in the mail today and listened during my lunch hour. Love it–reveals your versatility and really gets the different song messages across. I vote for “Realms of Glory” or “Winds of the World” for radio. It’s a joy to listen to all of the songs, though, so it’s hard to pick.
Reply to Melanie SmithWhat is the new single(s) gonna be???.
Reply to RJ HendersonThis CD is truly awesome–probably my favorite Talley CD to date. The song that blesses my heart the most is “My Hope is in the Lord.” Powerful lyrics and beautiful harmony.
I have felt for a long time that the biggest problem we have in the world today is there are so many people who have lost hope. There seems to be so many hurts, problems, sicknesses, troubles, financial woes, family problems, world issues, political concerns, etc. It seems the world has no hope.
Apart from God, it is an awful, hopeless place. But, with God’s help, we can make it. Whatever situation you find yourself in at this very moment, there is hope! You may not be able to see or feel the hope, but it is there for you. How do we find the hope? There is only one place where hope can be found, and that is in Jesus Christ.
“My hope is in the Lord. I will trust in Him, and Him alone. Though death knocks at my door, my hope is in the Lord.”
Thanks, Talleys, for recording this song.
I’m wondering if that track can be purchased with those lovely background vocals?
Blessings,
