This story touched my heart. I lost my Dad almost 4 mths ago and I thank the Lord I spent time with him in his last days. Thank you Roger for telling me about the post that Debra had put out on the site. I personally have shared time with her at several events and to have someone in the ministry that know who they are singing and talking about is such a comfort. We all tend to think that people in the ministry are not regular people with problems or aches and pains, but you are. God has put you in HIS ministry to help, as the song says “The Broken Ones” and I believe that he allows those to also face some difficulties to be able to relate to those of us who listen to your music and testimonies. I love your family! Debra, you have had a tremendous influence on my life (since I first heard you with the Hoppers). Thank you for always taking the time to talk to me! Ps 91:1-4.

Thank you for answering my letter to the Talley Trio. I didn’t get to see you at the Seminole Park singing but I tried to come. Maybe next time. When will you be in Oklahoma again? Maybe next time I can come. I hope so.

Thanks, Mark. I didn’t clarify before, she had an appointment at UAB with a specialist. He is sending her for more tests to determine what is causing the seizures. Her optic nerve is swollen, but they can’t figure out how the seizures are related. Keep her in your prayers.

Stanley, I’ll be praying for your girlfriend. I have seizures myself (petit mal) and I understand what they are like. I pray she is able to leave the hospital and get better quick. I have not had the pleasure of seeing the Talley trio in concert for four years now, but I have had a chance to listen to the entire new CD, and it is sure amazing.

Mary Ellen….addictions & serious health issues….Sam, my nephew, will have surgery @ Vanderbilt in Nashville for a large tumor behind his left eye….the family of pastor Ken Goins in his homegoing today…only 65 and the pastor of Watts Bar Church of God, Tennessee
