That is cool.There is a girl. Her name is emily and she is A friend of mine, even though she is four,she wants to say merry christmas and have a happy new year to you. I DO TOO. Her sister (Natalie) wants to say the same.LoL. Even though Natalie is two she is so sweet. So is Emily.

Thanks Lauren for the response and information. That was interesting. I didn’t know that the “Away In A Manger” song is on the Christmas recording. I’ll probably have to buy that CD. I always enjoy hearing you all sing those Christmas songs when they are played on WFCAFM108.

I’m catching up on blog reading today. Lauren, I so hear you on the sweet tea thing. In Feb. 2007, I went to a city called Boring, Oregon, and they had no idea what sweet tea was! I could not wait to get home and stop by some awesome fast-food restaurant that knew what I was talking about.

I don’t remember actually recording the song in the studio. I was six. I do, however, remember doing the song on the Christmas video that came out later that year.

We now have that clip of my six-year-old version on “Away In A Manger” on the Talley Trio’s “It’s Christmas” recording.

Hey Lauren I just heard on WFCAFM108 French Camp probably one of your earliest recordings “Away In A Manager” that was preceded by Debra singing “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”. I enjoyed hearing that Christmas song. Lauren, do you remember recording that song at such a young age?

Haha, I knew you were kidding, that’s why I couldn’t resist posting. I am nervous about Baltimore though y’all have shaped up (8-5?)…we’ve had a tough schedule this season. It’s been ranked the hardest in the past 25 years of Pro football, we’ve already lost to Lauren’s team .We have Y’all, then The Titans(I’ve already began prayer and fasting over this game haha) and then the Browns…so we’ll see. Always nice to chat football though. Great to hear from you Lauren, I’ve been a fan of the Talley Trio for some time…since the “So Thankful” days. God Bless and Go Steelers.

I’m just joking when I pick at Steelers fans really. I can’t help it. Hopefully I won’t eat my words next Monday night . I have quite a few friends that are Steelers fans. One of my friends and I seem like when it comes to sports everybody we both like are rivals. He’s a Steelers fan, I’m a Ravens fan. In NASCAR he’s a Jimmie Johnson fan, I’m a Tony Stewart fan, both rivals. We have a lot of fun digging each other when we talk.
