And here I thought it was a bass singer pretending to be a tenor.
Reply to Daniel J. MountI knew it had to be him! He’s certifiable! LOL
Reply to Elaine HarcourtHi Lauren, no matter how serious life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with. You and Micheal know that what you do and WHO you represent are serious, but thank goodness you don’t take yourselves seriously. Thank You for being who you are; you help to bring cheerfulness and humor into our lives. Everyone appreciates you !
Reply to JeffLauren A good one. More, More. I’m just wondering. I don’t live in the Bible belt but have you ever entertained in a state close to the NorthEast?Im fixing to move to Alabama near my brother just to get some real wholesome, fun music and entertainment. GodBless you all. Mike
Reply to Michael McGibbonHey Mike,
We sang in Maryland on New Year’s Eve and we have several concerts scheduled in Pennsylvania later this year, as well as a trip to upstate New York I believe. The best way to keep up with our schedule is on our official website, http://www.talleytrio.com….you will also find a link to it on the home page here.
Reply to Lauren TalleyIf you do move to Alabama, you will probably be able to go to a gospel concert every weekend
Reply to Lauren TalleyLauren , Was there ever a doubt. Good friend’s do this to each other. God Bless
Reply to PeggyKnew it, knew it and knew it!
As my daughter would put it Michael, you are a mess!!! Thank you Lauren for revealing the “Mystery Singer!”
Reply to AngieYou have to admit he is one funny person. The time i remember most is when he had all the cowboy hats for all three of them . I will never forget how funny .
Reply to gene welshThat’s funny! We were having such a good time backstage Saturday night at Monroe. I saw y’all goofin’ off together and heard the cell phone thing the next day and could tell! Anyway, hope to see y’all next year!
Reply to Hannahthat was awesome he did great!!!!!!!
Reply to daylaI figured that was a Michael Booth thing. I was starting to wonder though since you guys kept us guessing so long. I’ve witnessed some of Mark Trammel’s escapades too, so I know he’s not beneath something like that also. When I was at SHS this past Summer there were rumors that Lauren and Maryann O. were running around doing something to set up Mark Trammel. Were they true Lauren?
I had to laugh. Mark really brings it on himself. He’s like a large kid that never grew up.
Reply to Sam KerfootI plead the Fifth for the simple reason that Mary Anne would kill me.
Reply to Lauren TalleyWow…that is toooo funny! lol Thanks for posting the video.
Reply to marthaI just checked out your improved Talley Trio website and it looks good and I love that people can hear some of the songs! Great job!
Reply to Jacy CunninghamLol.
I expected that kind of response. Mark usually deserves it anyway. I guess you guys are looking for the next topic of discussion now that you have done the big reveal. I have one for you. What would be the most embarassing thing that has happened to you in a church, provided you feel comfortable telling it? That question applies to the rest of the Tree-O as well, if they feel comfortable telling it. I have one myself, but I’ll let someone else go first. It’s a long one, but I don’t think I’ll ever have one any more embarassing. At least I hope not anyway!
Reply to Sam KerfootHey, the new website is GREAT! I have been checking out your site for months now and wondering how long it was going to be before you updated it. It looks AWESOME!
Reply to CherylI noticed on your calendar you’re in Richmond, KY at Redhouse Baptist on 2/21. However, in the Singing News it says you’re there on 2/22. Can you clarify which date is correct? Thank you.
Reply to JenniHi Lauren,
Thank You for introducing me to Shiloh. I did not know them until I read about the wonderful cruise you are going on in October, 2009. They have a good sound and ministry. I hope your cruise is a great success. Thank You.
Reply to JeffHi Jenny,
We will be in Richmond, KY on Sat 2/21. The Singing News info was incorrect. We are constantly adding new concerts to the schedule on our other website, http://www.talleytrio.com. Check it often to make sure you don’t miss a date in your area.
Reply to Roger TalleyRoger
Roger, Thanks so much for clarifying. We’re hoping to make it to the concert in Richmond. I check your website often for dates and new products. I love the new album, Life Goes On…so many wonderful songs! Thanks again for getting back with me.
Reply to JenniJenni
That was just too funny. I knew it had to be Michael Booth.
Reply to KaseyThought this was cute!!!!
Cell Phone vs Bible
Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go… hmm… where is my
Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to Worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the Bill.
Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities?’ And no dropped calls!
Reply to SarahHey guys! I just wanted to drop you a note to say that your new website (www.talleytrio.com) looks awesome! I am hoping to be with you sometime in the next few months (weather permitting!!) as long as we stop getting all this snow! Why cant OHIO be closer to the equator???? 10″ so far and it is still coming down! Well, thats it for now! Once again, I love the new site and I will see you soon!

Lauren,
Are you THE Lauren Talley? If so, I would just like to say that you have been a BIG BIG inspiration to me in my walk with the Lord. In my book, The Talley Trio are my all-time favorite group! Avalon is my second, but you guys are just awesome!
My name is Joe Zigmund, I’m 24, and I love to listen to your music, especially Orphans Of God, which gave me an entirely new outlook on Christianity. Also, back in March 2008, I entered in a Talent Show for the place I used to work at, called WASCO. I have Asperger’s and Autism, and this place is a workshop for people who have disabilities.
During the Talent Show, my number was His Life For Mine. Every day when I would practice that song, I would just get goosebumps and remind myself of the sacrifice that Jesus made for me when He died on the cross of Calvary, all to pay for my sins. I have a theory as to that as well:
In this world, people will conduct business deals left and right, in hopes to get what they’re after. When Jesus died on the Cross, He made the ultimate transaction, by exchanging His own life, and allowing Himself to be humiliated and mocked, in return, gaining our salvation.
Reply to Joe ZigmundWe will be seeing you all in October in Boston. You won’t need to bring any tea bags to throw in the Harbor!
(smile)
Reply to Jim and Rhea HartleyHave the Mull’s booked you for next year yet? If not we must continue our plan to have you back.
