Roger, why is it always so dark in a recording studio ?There must be reasons, what are they ?

    Thank You.

Now that I have listened to it well, it does sound like Where Could I Go .There again that Talley Twist threw me off a little.

Maybe it’s both, Where Could I Go and Have a Little Talk With Jesus. Y’all are so original and creative, it’s hard to tell. But that’s my guess. I definitely heard–or thought I did–Have a Little Talk. :) Can’t wait to hear the album…

This was going to be a reply to Jeff, but then I decided to say hey to everyone. Thank you all so much for checking in to the site and posting. We didn’t acttually announce the titles to the first 2 songs, but the consensus of opinions was correct. They were Hes So Good To Me and Amazing Grace. I’ll let you chew on this one awhile longer, but there’s been some good guesses already :) .
The room where the musicians play isn’t dark because they have to constantly look at the music chart. The control room is usually a little darker because the engineers are looking at computer monitors all day and it cuts down on the glare from bright lights, plus it just makes it a little easier to see. It looks darker on these videos than it really is when you’re there.

I’ll have to admit after listening to the song about four times, I would have to guess, Have A Little Talk With Jesus. It was not easy to pick out the melody line, because I have only heard this song and, Just A Closer walk with thee as either a jazz or bluegrass version, so it hard to tell what the song was. I did like the bass part of the song, I hope you keep that for the final cut.

Roger, after hearing from Mary Ann it reminds me that I think you should ask Van to sing the first verse. Then dedicate it to Mary Ann. That would be so sweet. (It’s definitely not “Glory, Glory to Ole Georgia”) Love this web-site!!

Lauren, This is just something to keep it light and fun on the TREE.

    1. Without anyone watching you, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

    2. Now, while doing this, draw the number ‘ 6 ‘ in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

    Isn’t that crazy !

Well, back to work ! ;)
