Wow Lauren, how could anyone not show up. It is amazing to hear Lauren Talley admit that there are even struggles in her life. I love the Talley Trio and have seen you several times in person. I think God has great things in store with Dig Deeper! I know that God is in it!

Thanks for sending these updates on what’s going on in the lives of the Talley Trio. I certainly enjoy hearing about your lives and love your music. Thanks again for sending me the accompaniment tracks for three of your songs. I am enjoying each update that is sent to me.

Hey, thats really Cool! I wish you all the best success in this endeavor with God’s guidance of course! We thoroughly enjoyed the concert this past Sat. evening in Yukon, OK. You guys were just Awesome as always! I love that song – “The Promise” (coming down that dusty road. Anyway, I have a question – Are you guys going to video your Seminars or at least have an audio version recording of it there in Pigeon Forge for the debut of this project? Unfortunately, My family & I live too far away to be able to make it there. With the tough economy, I just got back into the workforce & we wont be able to make it. Please let us know if we can at least get an audio version of it. That would be really cool. Thanks, Scott

Roger, you don’t post many times ( probably busy with the business side of your ministry ) I just wanted to say Thank You for all the people you have produced over the years, we would probably be surprised with all the folks you have helped. Keep up the good work, we know you are the driving force behind many activities in Southern Gospel ! ( Dignity does not consist in possessing honors, but in deserving them ). :)

      Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the compliments and thanks for posting on this site. I have had trouble accessing the site recently because I’ve changed phones. I usually check in on my Blackberry while we’re on the road but my new phone wasn’t showing me any content! I think I have the problem solved, so I’ll be posting more from now on.

We hope to see you soon.

      Hi Hank,

I’ve heard of this Talley family for many years, but we aren’t related to them. They sang and played many instruments and were signed to the Heartwarming record label for some of their recordings. We have always been asked if we are their children, especially in the northern states where they were popular. A few times, people have even brought their albums for us to autograph!

I heard a few years ago that the parents are deceased now. It would have been a great thrill to have met them.

Thanks for your support. I hope the songs went well at your church. Keep singing!

There was another Talley that sang with the early Kingsmen. I think his name was Ray Talley. I think it was the Kingsmen from the sixties. I stumbled across it one day looking for some information on a Kingsmen song. That wasn’t your Dad or a Uncle was it Roger? He kind of resembled you and Kirk a little.

      Hi Sam,

We are no relation to those Talleys. Its odd to me that there were three families named Talley in our little church of 100 people when I was growing up. As far as we knew, none of us were related to each other. For a name that isn’t that popular, that seems to be a lot of Talleys in a small area!

Is there anyplace that I can buy Laurens CD/tape What makes popcorn pop? My children loved the music on it when they were young. I teach a 3 year old preschool class and want them to learn the song for there spring program. I still have the cassette, but it is stuck in my cars player because my nephew stuck a penny in it. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you! Angie

Wow, sorry but I just woke up to the fact that I didn’t have The Talley Trio on the list to update my new e-mail address a year or so ago, so I just “resubscribed” and Carol and I are so much looking forward to seeing and hearing you guys again on the March 6 cruise, on which we finally just got booked.

    Roger,

If you ever record a Christmas CD, or any time of year really, please consider the song ” In The Bleak Midwinter “, it just grabs me with it’s simplicity and lovely melody. The lyrics are so meaningful, and cause me to stop and ponder what I can all give to our Savior Jesus Christ. We can all give Him Our Hearts ! :)

    Thank You.
