Vote For Your Favorite Photos!

Hey, here’s one we really want you to jump into. We have some of the photos from our photo shoot and we are starting to work on the CD cover. You can see that we have Group Photos, Lauren Photos, Debra Photos, and Roger Photos.  We think we want to use the individual shots for the cover and maybe a group shot somewhere else in the insert. You can comment on that idea. What we want you to do is pick your favorite photo from each set. We have way too many photos (over 300) to show them all here but your choices will give us an idea of the types you like.

I Will Sing Of My Redeemer (song #7)

Here we go folks with the seventh song! And remember to subscribe if you haven’t already.  We’ll soon be showing some video recordings of our actual vocals.  Also soon, we’ll be putting up photos and asking for your help in choosing among them for our CD cover.

Life Goes On (song # 5)

Here’s the next one! Life Goes On with lyrics under the video. And a bonus “fun in the studio” piece: Lauren singing with Brother Marion.

The Winds Of The World (song #3)

Here is the next song! We hope you will continue to tell us what you think. As usual, the lyrics are printed just below the video. Also, if you scroll down below the lyrics, we have a little “Fun In The Studio” bonus.

Realms Of Glory Bright ( song # 1)

Hi everyone! We just recorded the music tracks for ten songs to go on our new recording, and we want YOU to be the first to hear the new songs! You will hear guide vocals (also called scratch vocals) along with the music tracks. These are VERY basic. Their purpose is merely to give the musicians and you an idea of how the song goes, so the finished product will be very different from what you hear in these clips. We just want you to hear the new songs and tell us what you think of them! Here is the first one.

And, please, SUBSCRIBE (in the upper right of the page) so you don’t miss any of the others coming up.

SUBSCRIBE! Why You Should And How You Do It

In the coming weeks, beginning with this one, we will be showing you videos of our studio work on our new CD. You’ll get to see us in the studio working on all the new songs and you’ll get to see and hear each song as the work progresses. AND, we want to know what you think about every single one. After that, we’ll be showing possible photos and CD cover designs for your approval. We really want your input on these things.

This will all be happening quickly and we have to decide quickly. If you want to help us on these decisions, we need you to SUBSCRIBE! When you subscribe you will get an email from us letting you know immediately each time a new song, photo, cover, etc., is up on this site for you to look at. If you are not subscribing we may be on to the next thing by the time you come back here to see what’s new. Your comment may be too late to help us.

So…SUBSCRIBE! It’s very easy. See the word “SUBSCRIBE” near the top right corner of the page. Underneath that word it says “enter you email address.” Write your email address in the box, then click on the word “subscribe” right under your email address. That’s all there is to it. Now, every time we put up anything new, you will get notified. Right away. You will never miss anything we’re doing and we’ll always be able to hear from you.

Just a few days ago, we sang at a church that I had sung in many years ago with the first group I sang with, the Song Masters. We had a great evening and as we closed the service, I gave an invitation for anyone who wanted to receive Christ. No hands were raised, so we prayed for all the other needs. While I was standing at the product table, a middle-aged lady with a little girl came up to me. The lady had tears streaming down her face and the little girl was pressed up against the lady. The little girl didn’t look anything like the lady, in fact, the lady was reddish blond and look like she might be old enough to be the grandmother. The girl had dark hair and eyes and looked like she might be Native American. The lady said “this is my daughter and she’s one of the ‘broken ones’. We adopted her this year.” She began to tell me that the little girl had told her during the invitation that she wanted to have Jesus in her heart. I had made the statement that if you just couldn’t raise your hand in a public place to see one of us after the service. I knelt down and ask the little girl if she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart and she nodded. I explained to her that we need to tell Jesus we are sorry for our sin and ask him to live in our hearts. She repeated a simple sinners prayer with me. After we had prayed, I asked her if she knew where she would go if she died. A big smile came across her beautiful face and she said “heaven”. I said, “that’s right and do you know why you will go to heaven?” She pointed to her heart and simply said, “Jesus”. When I asked how old she was she told me she was seven years old. Then I asked her what her name was and she said “Angel!” I told her she was Jesus’ angel now and she threw her little arms around my neck and hugged me tightly. So many times, we can get discouraged and wonder if what we do, whether it is singing, teaching, preaching, or any other job that spreads the gospel, is making a difference in this world. It only takes one little dark haired girl named Angel to know that it does!

Pray For Us And Pray For Each Other

As you can see, we have designated a special place on this site for prayer requests, our testimonies of how God has answered our prayers and encouragement to each other in our Christian life. We want this to be a place for you to be uplifted and strengthened and for you to know that others share in your struggles and burdens.

I’d like to ask all of you to pray for us and our upcoming recording, that God will lead us, send us exactly the right songs and bless our efforts.

Just recently there were some very severe storms in the eastern United States and one night last week we happened upon an accident on the interstate near Greensboro, North Carolina. We discovered that a tornado had ripped through that very location only five minutes ahead of us. We could very well have been involved in such an incident or worse, but God has been so good to protect us in our travels and we’re very thankful. We know that God’s hand has stayed with us because so many people have prayed for us and we don’t take that lightly.

We know that your prayers are effective because we feel them and they affect our lives, and so we encourage all of you to share with us and each other. What are you praying for? What would you like everyone to help you pray about? How has God answered your prayers?

Tell Us What You Think And Get A Free Song

Hello and welcome!

Thank you for checking out our new site! We hope you’ll come back again and again and become part of the family Tree.

We’ve just begun working on a brand new Talley Trio recording! Our first studio dates for tracking are in June and so we are hard at work choosing songs and arranging them, and we need your help. Now obviously, there are too many songs that come in for you to listen to and review all of them with us, so we want you to give us an idea of the types of songs you like to hear us perform best.
